Hello. Testing the first post

First post for this blog project. Set up the schemas with just the essential things like title, cover photo, date, and the text editor for now.

I'm using Hygraph for this project. Still new to all this stuff but it seems like a pretty user friendly content management system where I can easily grab queries with the GraphQL API. Barely know what any of this means, but it seems straightforward enough for all this back end data stuff.

The front end framework is handled by Next.js. First time using this too, but it's React-based so at least I have some knowledge to build on. I got it as close to I can to my main portfolio website so it looks cohesive. The portfolio is just straight up HTML, CSS, and some JavaScript where this blog is more advanced stuff. Eventually I'll convert everything with Next.js, but for now this is fine. Hopefully it doesn't fall apart.

First post but also test post for getting in some data that I can fetch. So far everything is looking good. 👍
