February already.

Working on more projects, getting more comfortable with React.

Project 1

This video had a pretty good interview challenge question.

Make a thesaurus app using the Datamuse API. It's a pretty straightforward project and I was able to do it without too much trouble. It's pretty minimal and light so I used it to practice styling elements like doing dark/light mode.

Project 2

This project was a lot more involved. Followed a YouTube video⁠

Project is a full stack MERN app that's a clone of DALL-E. The OpenAI is free for a good number of image generations. Don't have experience with building backend stuff (aside from Firebase), so this was good practice. Definitely need to do more MERN projects.

Pretty happy with how this turned out. The YouTube video had the page design closer to the original DALL-E but I kept it to a single page and went for a neubrutalism style with the bold borders and colors. I used gradient colors though.
